2026 Maritime RobotX Challenge | 08-14 November 2026
For the 2026 edition, Ministry of Defence, Singapore and the U.S. Office of Naval Research, in collaboration with RoboNation and National University of Singapore, will bring Maritime RobotX Challenge back to Singapore.

The 2026 Maritime RobotX Competition will be held 08-14, 2026 at the Promontory @ Marina Bay in Singapore.
The Maritime RobotX Challenge is a biennial international competition hosted by RoboNation and was established to foster student interest in robotic and autonomous systems operating within the maritime environment. Robotx challenges teams to document, design, and transform the Wave Adaptive Modular-Vessel (WAM-V) into an autonomous robotic system, developing and integrating an Autonomous Surface Vehicle (ASV) and an Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to accomplish a series of real world tasks. This competition fosters international relationships between students, academic institutions, and industry partners.
Storm Response: Technology in Action for Recovery and Relief. Storm Response explores the power uncrewed systems play in recovery, resilience, and discovery in disaster relief efforts. Framed as an opportunity, not just to restore what was lost, but to rebuild smarter and reimagine the future; this season’s challenges reflect the real-world role of robotics in helping communities respond to and recover from storms and other natural events. Through hands-on missions grounded in post-disaster scenarios, teams will apply technology with purpose – restoring harbor operations, assessing underwater infrastructure, supporting exploration, and unlocking new possibilities.
